Uxbridge Library Fine Amnesty

Been avoiding the Library lately?  Return your billed library materials with the
Return Your Library Materials Campaign!

The Uxbridge Free Public Library will hold a two-week amnesty period from July
6-17, 2009
, when patrons may return all billed Uxbridge Library materials
without penalty or fine to restore borrowing privileges.

Patrons with a fine balance of more than $10 are prevented from borrowing
Library materials – the amnesty restores borrower privileges to those patrons
once they return any long overdue, billed items. All items may be returned to
the Library in person or by drop-off in the book/DVD return boxes located at the
main entrance of the Library.

This program is particularly important in the current, difficult economic
climate.  While return of lost or billed items will benefit the entire community
by returning items to the shelves, we hope this program will also increase
library usage and promote goodwill.
