Library Card & Privileges
The Uxbridge Free Public Library offers books, magazines, books on tape, music CDs, and
movie videos, to Uxbridge residents and members of participating Central Mass Regional
Library System libraries, in good standing. Uxbridge residents may borrow from local CMRLS
libraries, either in person or through Interlibrary Loans. For a list of participating libraries,

There are fines for materials that are returned to the libary late. Fines for books,
magazines, books on tape, and music CDs are .10 per item/per day, up to $ 3.00
maximum per item. Video/DVD late fees are $1.00 per item/per day, up to $ 5.00
maximum per item.

Follow the instructions on-screen and
1. Enter Your Library Card Number
2. Enter Your PIN (if you don't have a PIN, you are given and opportunity to select
one-- see left column for more info on PINs)

Library materials may no longer be renewed via the phone. All renewals must be done
online from home, or by using the library computers. Please note that your library
card is required for all transactions at the UFPL.

PIN RULES:
The system will not allow
patrons to create "trivial"
PINs. A PIN is considered
"trivial" if it contains:
a character that is repeated
3 or more times (aaa,aaaa)
a set of 2,3,or 4 characters
is repeated 2 or more times
(abab,abcabc,abcdabcd...)
If a patron tries to create a
"trivial" PIN, the following
error message will
display "Your PIN is not
complex enough to be
secure. Please select
another one"
The system will block any
user who attempts to log in
more than 5 times with the
same barcode for a period
of one min.
