Library Notes:

****The Uxbridge Library offered a spring free Resume Clinic at the library. The
clinic offered assistance, advice, and the how to's of creating resumes and cover
letters. The program also provided assistance in resume preparation.  The program
finished June 1st, but is now being offered by appointment. To make an appointment,
send a copy of your resume to lua331@aol.com and ask for help (please include your
phone number). Arrangements will be made to meet at the Library.   Be sure to take
advantage of this program, and get a leg up on competition.

****Fundraiser: Support the Friends of the Uxbridge Free Public Library by shopping
at Barnes& Noble in Millbury, MA.  In an effort to raise funds for special programs
and museum passes for the Uxbridge Library, the Friends are working together with
Barnes & Noble Booksellers by hosting a bookfair at the Millbury, MA store on
Tuesday, June 23rd and Wednesday, June 24th during regular store hours, Barnes &
Noble will contribute a percentage of every sale made with a special bookfair voucher
to the Friends of the Uxbridge Free Public Library.  Vouchers are available in hard
copy at the Uxbridge Library.

The library offers free wireless internet on site. This service is available starting a 1/2 hr before opening and 1/2 after closing, only on days the library is open.

To Northbridge Residents:  Due to the decertification of the Whitinsville Social
Library, the Uxbridge Public Library will not lend materials to the residents of
Northbridge as per Massachusetts State Law (605 CMR 4.01).  However, we would like
it to be known that the residents of Northbridge are still welcome to utilize the
Uxbridge Library resources within the library (i.e., computers, research materials,
