Help the Uxbridge Food Pantry!
The People First Food Pantry is looking for donations! Did you know the Library has collection bins for contributions to on both levels? Just drop off any non-perishable items during regular library hours and we'll arrange to have it delivered to the food pantry. Diapers, wipes and ointments are in high demand currently. Your help is greatly appreciated!  

Own a Piece of Uxbridge History!
  For a small donatation, you will receive a copy of Uxbridge Bi-Centennial 1927, with information about early Uxbridge and many of its historic buildings including the Library itself! The monies collected will go towards the historical collection.

Friends Membership

The Friends of the Uxbridge Library are looking for members!. Please consider joining the Friends and help support the museums pass program, summer program and many other worthwhile endeavors that the Friends are a part of. Based on sign-up we are hoping that each person can bring up to two books.  This is a wonderful program that is similar to Antiques Road Show, but for books. ​

Missing some leaves from the Family Tree?

Are you interested in Genealogy and Family History?  Have you wondered how to start, where to go for assistance as you navigate the maze of Internet information?  Mike Postaski will be available most Saturday mornings from 10am-noon to help beginners get started and advise other researchers who are running into difficulties gathering information.  These sessions are free and open to the public. Homebound Delivery Service

The library has a homebound service program in place that allows patrons who are unable to travel to the library due to medical conditions to receive home delivery of library materials.
In order to qualify for this door-to-door delivery and pickup service of materials, an applicant must live within the town of Uxbridge, MA and possess a valid Uxbridge Free Public Library card in good standing.

Please note that at this time the library has a limited amount of volunteers and we will do our best to accommodate the needs of the patron.
